Dr. Amy Beard was born and raised in Helena, AR, along the banks of the Mississippi River. After graduating from Barton High School with top honors she graduated summa cum laude from UCA with a degree in dietetics. She completed a dietetic internship at UAMS the following year. From setting regional high school track records to being named Arkansas’ Best Female Cyclist, Dr. Beard has always known that a healthy diet and lifestyle were the keys to optimal health.
Lindley was raised in Searcy, AR where she was Salutatorian of her high school class. She graduated with her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from the University of Arkansas and received her Doctorate of Nursing from University of Tennessee Health Science Center. She is being mentored by Dr. Beard and is pursuing her certification in Functional Medicine.
Laura has worked many years as a clinical dietician and is currently in her 7thth year teaching Nutrition classes to students at the U of A in Morrilton. She is an avid athlete, an excellent cook, a nutrition expert, and she brings a common sense approach to weight loss and healthy living.
Jodi attended and graduated with honors from Conway High School. She attended the University of Central Arkansas and graduated at the top of her class with a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics in 3 ½ years. Jodi came to Hippocrates Health eager to look outside the box of conventional weight loss and nutrition regimens. She is being mentored by Dr. Amy Beard to administer nutrition counseling with a Functional Medicine approach while seeking her own Certification in Functional Medicine. Jodi is eager to help and educate others on how to live a healthy, vigorous life.
Carly graduated from the University of Central Arkansas with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology in 2008. For the past 6 years Carly has worked with both children and adults as a caseworker in outpatient mental and behavioral health centers. Working with Hippocrates Health, Carly now provides Health Coaching focusing on weight loss while encouraging healthy lifestyles and habits.
Traci has over 30 years of experience in nursing and has practiced as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner and Certified Nurse Midwife for over 15 years. She is currently teaching and sharing her knowledge and skills with other nurses in the Nurse Practitioner program at the University of Central Arkansas. Traci is an expert in Bio-identical Hormone Rejuvenation and Women’s Health. She is pursuing further education in Functional Medicine.
